After SEE you are in next level of study. Here in class 11 you will be introduced with the different phenomenon and their mode of working. The course designed here is to make you capable of analytical thinking. The note copy given here is just for reference. Never skip the topics and regularly attend class because teachers give you many extra things which you cannot learn at home. Attending class regularly gives you confidence during exam. 
Optics is very easy and interesting part of physics. If you learn with little concentration you can make it good. I suggest you to practice more and more..
